Making the leap to homeschool your child and find a program like ours that fits their needs and learning style is a big deal and we do not take it lightly. We are delighted that you are here and considering an outdoor educational program for your child! While the traditional public school system works for many children, it does not work for all. Teachers in the traditional school system have really tough jobs. They have to wrangle and teach kids with all different learning styles in the same way, while focusing on test scores and keeping everyone safe and well cared for each day. Thankfully, at BOA we can help teach your child in the way they learn best. For some children, they need to move - a lot. Others may learn best while sitting still in a typical school desk, while some enjoy a rolling chair where they don’t feel confined and can move their body as needed while absorbing the lesson of the day. Movement, connections, hands-on experiences, and fostering a love for nature are all wonderful benefits to our program. We understand that we do not have it all figured out, but we are loving this time while we learn as we go and can adjust when necessary for each child's needs.
